Your Solution Can Help Guide a Nation

Our One Day to Save a Life program provides participants an opportunity to help The United Nations and Governments to implement a solution that will have immediate impact. During this one day event, participants share the excitement of working with UN Ambassadors and UN Agency leadership to solve in microcosm specific issues impacting a developing community as well as creating a solution to a local problem as well.

Through round table discussions and workgroups with facilitation by a local celebrity recognized for humanitarian goals, the participants address these issues that are a microcosm representing larger issues effecting developing nations and develop and implement a solution.

Following each series of events, the MDG Awards Committee presents to the Ambassadors of the benefiting nations a report for their country and a copy for the Secretary General.

Everyone benefits. The underwriters and participants not only have an opportunity to achieve measurable results in one day, but they also have the excitement of working with UN Ambassadors and officials and enjoy the networking opportunities of working with community and UN leadership. The greatest beneficiaries of all are the humanitarian projects that result from the solutions implemented in just one day!
